Jason Inglis is the heart, soul and passion behind Coach J Fitness Studio. As a lifelong athlete and fitness coach, Jason fell into a career as a personal trainer and coach organically. After spending more than a decade as a personal trainer, he realized his true passion was training in groups and sought out a group training setting, where he could share his enthusiasm for fitness. From there he established his own brand and freestyle training method. His approach is not only about fitness, but setting goals, being healthy and achieving personal development.
He believes that everyone has the capability to succeed with the right inspiration.

Class Description

MEDICINE BALL TRAINING
Integrating interval training with strength training, targeting multiple muscle groups within a workout that will help increase your endurance through out all functional activities. Assisting in improving your coordination, endurance and general muscle tone while having a good time.

FLOOR TO WALL WORKOUT (TRX & MEDICINE BALLS)
This event explores the dynamics of the medicine balls in training sequences as well as dynamic sequences using the TRX system. A strength training class using body weight and medicine balls as tools for resistance in training and using the weights to support functional movements or static positions to build strength and endurance.

KAYLA NOODELMAN

Kayla has always been an anatomy and wellness junkie. She is a personal trainer, spinning instructor, and registered massage therapist. The combination of an undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences and biology from the University of Western Ontario and the education received from massage therapy practice and theory has given Kayla an extensive knowledge of the human body. As part of the Coach J’s Freestyle brand, Kayla focuses on core strength and stability, dynamic conditioning. The body is extremely malleable and adaptive to physical challenges and it is a privilege to be able to challenge and motivate clients to reach their goals and see results. Kayla is known for her positive attitude towards life, and as a challenging fitness class leader. She’ll be the girl at the front of the class with a huge smile on her face!

Class Description

TAG TEAM INTERVAL TRAINING
This class will be focused on interval training between Nara, who will teach on the bike, and Kayla, who will teach various sequences on the floor. Both the cycle and floor training elements of the event will be in the fitness studio.

KEITH THOMPSON

Five years ago, Keith Thompson made a decision to change his life. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Keith grew up as an obese child. He was working for a large telecommunications company as an Information Technology professional in 2008, at nearly 300lbs; he was frustrated with his weight and his health. Bored with the diets, books and the gym, Keith found no success in any of those approaches to weight loss. Until one day Keith attended a step class at a local gym and loved it. Keith had finally found a program that worked for him and ultimately lost over 70 lbs.

Keith’s natural contagious energy and positive attitude in the step classes were so infectious that his instructor noticed that people were coming to her class because of Keith. After learning of Keith’s story of determination in his own life, watching him warm up the class one day and subsequently teaching it, his instructor decided to provide a scholarship for Keith to receive his group fitness certification so that he could become an instructor. He took the scholarship and found more than success. He found his passion.

He’s a certified group fitness instructor with the AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) and teaches step and cycle classes.

Class Description

KTX® CYCLE
A group exercise session in which participants ride stationary bicycles at varying speeds and resistance settings. Popular among many ages, races and genders.

MARC LEBERT

Marc Lebert is the inventor of the Lebert Equalizer, the Lebert Buddy System and the Lebert Stretch Strap, used by Personal Trainers, fitness clubs, gyms, schools and sports centres all over the world.

Marc has excelled at sports all his life but his passion for weight training began at college where he first stepped foot in the weight room.He has been working out religiously ever since! Along the way Marc also became very enthused about Taekwondo, earning his Black Belt, fighting competitively on a National Level and instructing. As the Strength and Conditioning coach for Billy “The Kid” Irwin, Marc also began learning the “sweet science” and boxing is a real passion for him teaching high energy, dynamic classes every week.

MICHAEL DECORTE

Michael DeCorte is the creator of Jock Yoga. Michael has been practicing and teaching yoga for 12+ years, after turning to yoga and fitness to overcome his personal challenges with substance abuse and obesity. Michael has worked and trained internationally with the most respected and revered teachers and yogis.

Michael is an on-air fitness expert on Global TV and CBC. He has been featured by Breakfast Television and CTV News, and is a men’s yoga expert for AmongMen.com. Michael was a featured presenter at the 2012 Toronto CanFitPro International Conference and Tradeshow.

Marc is a Certified Personal Trainer and proprietor of Personal Strength Fitness Inc. training clients in their homes, corporations and at his fitness club, Fitness NATION in Mississauga. Marc has his BA in Psychology and is a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner. Marc is a published writer and international presenter, running educational courses and motivational seminars around the world and makes regular TV appearances.

Seon’s passion for training has resulted in the creation of specialized programming that meets the individual needs of his clients-whether it is high intensity, strength training, or general fitness for beginners. His dynamic exercises lead from “sweating it out in the gym” to translating that strength and energy to increase vitality in daily life. Seon trains a range of clients from professional athletes, amateur athletes, to individuals trying to improve their level of fitness.

From training Andrew Wiggins (#1 Overall NBA Draft Pick) in a full out strength and conditioning power workout, to running fitness classes for lululemon athletica, to encouraging young athletes in their pursuit of excellence, to supporting healthy living for everyday life, Seon trains clients from all walks of life.
